Information we collect
When you make a contribution we collect your legal name, residential street address, city, state, ZIP code, email address, optional telephone number, occupation, employer, contribution amount, and the date and time of your certification. We also record the page or campaign that referred you, and the IP address and browser user agent of the device used to submit the form, for fraud prevention and security.
How we use it
Contributor information is used to process your contribution, keep required campaign-finance records, satisfy legal reporting obligations, prevent fraud and abuse, and communicate with you about your contribution. We do not sell contributor information, and we do not use it for unrelated commercial marketing.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout pages. This site never receives or stores card numbers, security codes, or bank credentials. We retain only Stripe reference identifiers, the amount, processing fees, and payment status needed for reconciliation.
Public disclosure
Political contributions are not tax deductible. Contributor information — including name, address, occupation, employer, amount, and date — may be reported to the appropriate authorities and become publicly available as required by law. We do not publish contributor names or addresses on this website.
Security and access
Contributor records are stored in an access-controlled database. Only authorized committee officers holding an administrator or treasurer role may view them, access is authenticated, and administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.
